About the event

Please join us for an engaging lineup of speakers representing state, regional, and local organizations, including an afternoon panel discussion.


The focus will be on community-based systems that support children and families, identifying the necessary system changes, and assessing the strength of the collaboration.


Morning: The conference opens with registration and refreshments, followed by welcomes from Dr. Fran Langan and an update from Carlene Gula of Keystone Family Alliance on the impact this conference has had on the community to date.


The keynote presentation focuses on "Holistic Care of Families and Children" featuring Dr. Stephen Long, Jr. and Dr. Man ju Mary Thomas from The Wright Center.


A statewide panel then addresses children's issues with Pennsylvania leaders, including Dr. Valerie Arkoosh (Department of Human Services), Shante' Brown (Deputy Secretary of Child Development and Early Learning), and Dr. Carrie Rowe (Secretary of Education).
